Just a straight apology with no excuses or trying to justify what was said. You must be a wonderful man. Thank you. Guest guest
Larry, Now this, I feel, is truly an apology and I hope that you get lots of positive feedback for it. There was nothing self serving about it and it was very humble in the part where you actually said you apologized for what you wrote. Thank you for being a good person inside and sharing it with those of us outside. Michele (with one L) >>You of course have every right to post about your health problems and what you are facing. I had no business flaming you for it. I apologize once again.
Guest guest
<< I had no business flaming you for it. I apologize once again.>> I am posting this from the website, as my emails are STILL hanging in cyberspace forever before posting. I have posts that I sent 3 days ago to some Yahoo Groups lists that STILL have not showed up! Drivine me nuts!!! I never even got this original email, I only knew about it because someone else replied to it. Maybe posting from the website will help. Enough about cyberheck.. Thank you, Larry. I really appreciate your apology. In fact, you had me nearly in tears. It has been a horrible week for all of us, especially those of us in the NYC area. We all seem to know someone effected personally by this tragedy, and emotions are on edge. I went to see my psychologist, and as I said, she laughed hysterically that people said I was self centered and selfish. She also told me that it was good that I found humor in the situation. Yes, I do post about my accomplishments, but it really isn't self centered..it is to let others know what CAN be done with WLS. My self esteem is really just out of the toilet. That is better than IN the toilet where it used to me. When people compliment me, I still can't take it the right way. But I am growing as I am shrinking. =o) I also want to thank the tons of people who emailed me privately with their support...especially the lurkers. Don't let the problems of the past week scare you away...we are a family, and sometimes siblings squabble. Unfortunately, we lash out with words instead of taking our siblings toys. I pray for this and my other online list families all the time. Everytime you post a problem, I pray for you. I might not always reply, but I do pray and do care. BTW...I heard from my podiatrist and the surgeon he recommended does take my insurance, so I start THIS surgery journey on Monday with the phone calls, the referrals...What do I call this one, BRS? Thanks again...and for all I care, it is water under the bridge, and lets just get back to support and caring...and the occasional fart in a windstorm. Guest guest
Wow, who could possibly ignore you in that beautiful new convertible. Just checked out your website. Really enjoyed your pictures. We are all amazing people and should be proud of ourselves. What an amazing transformation you've made. You look great. ME TOO! During my period of weight loss, I felt and acted totally bodacious. Since completion of reconstructive surgery, I look so much better but am more shy. I'm wondering if it is because I still don't recognize me? Anyone elso experience same?
