After going on high doses of antihistimines, I had relief from angioedema for over a year. This week it reared its ugly, and I mean UGLY, head. My lips are gross as is my neck etc. Here is the text of a fax that i sent my doc. Any ideas? I am ready to go anywhere and do anything. Does anyone have this experience? Does anyone have experience with KETOTOFIN, it is only available in Canada. Has anyone heard of or used Dr. Warner in NY? The bottom line is that I need some ideas that have worked. I have every kind of hive that exists plus eczema. They play Russian roulette with my body. Thanks guys Barbara in Boston Date: MONDAY MORNING December 17, 2001 I have had angioedema for the past few days. My eyes were so swollen that one stayed shut all day. Last night the left side of my neck blew up as well as my lips. This morning , 6:00 AM, I have huge lips and neck may large hard hives all over my scalp, and one of my fingers is swollen. I have not had this kind of huge hives since the onset a year ago July 2000. Since taking a month of Prednisone (60 mgs a day for a month) didn't help, taking high doses of antihistimines, seems to have stopped working, where do we go from here?
