Guest guest
I just remembered one thing about being on all T3, besides the low adrenal problem being worsened. I was not myself totally. I found that all T3 seemed to cause me to loose a lot of my former motivation to do things. I was going to work every day and not really striving to do new things. It was sort of like being on a mood adjuster that made you happy to just go along with how things were. I was having EEG training at the time for insomnia. In this training, they look at your brain activity in different parts of your brain and try to balance it out. I had many sessions while on T3 and then decided to switch to Armour, but didn't think to tell my technician. I showed up for my appointment and she hooked me up to the machine and was shocked to see, what she termed " a totally different brain " . She wasn't sure how to proceed that day. I had a lot more activity in the areas responsible for energy and motivation that had been low before. She called some experts to see if they had ever seen such a thing. They hadn't. I told her that I was feeling things much more intensly since switching and that it was nice. I was kind of a flat line on all T3. It was then that I knew that people really need all the thyroid hormones. I would think that T4 only would also affect the brain negatively. I think I'm doing that now even with the T4. Tish
