Guest guest Posted October 28, 2001 Report Share Posted October 28, 2001 I had to crow and let everyone in on a wonderful " first " for me. Today, when I was in the kitchen making lunch, my husband said, " I want to see if I can pick you up! " I was quite apprehensive. NO ONE has EVER picked me up since I was about age 3 or 4. I was afraid for his back! So, anyway, I shimmied up on the counter (something I also could never do before), put my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist and he PICKED ME UP and walked around the kitchen with a huge grin on his face!!! It was... well... dang.. it was FUN!!! It's exhilarating to be " carried. " It feels so warm and safe and silly! My husband got a major chuckle out of it and says he can't wait to try it " sans clothes " after the little one has gone to bed! LOL!
