CONGRATULATIONS! I am so happy to hear that you had a transplant and that

you are feeling great. That is such good news. You are lucky to have a friend

that cares about you so much. Best of luck with your new kidney! Jill

Doyle wrote: Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't written in a while but I had my kidney

tranplant on Feb. 1st. My best friend game me her's. I

FEEL GREAT.! I was so sick on dialysis, it just didn't

work for me and when I woke up I kept asking if it

worked...I have been feeling so good! I have a low

tolance for drugs I usually get sick, even on tums.

But I have been doing awesome with the drugs. I have

been so scard and worried about this surgery that it

wouldn't work, that I wounldn't be able to handle the

drugs. That is not the case. I am doing perfect. I

went to clinic yesturday and the doctor said I was

boring, it was the first time in 15 years where my

labs were normal and they didn't have to do anything:)

I was so excited. I love the fact that I can eat

whatever I want again, and they want you to have lot's

of phosp. I can handle that! So if there is anyone who

is thinking about kidney transplant, or is not sure

about it, I would love to tell you all about my

experience. I talked to a lot of people before and

they told me good information, but the best part was

feeling for yourself. It is worth it! I would do it

again in a heart beat!! I just want to write and tell

about my experience. For anyone who lives in Maine,

Channel 6 have been following me for the past six

months and the story will be airing on Feb. 14th and

15th. There is a nother girl who got a kidney, never

even went through kidney failure or dialysis who got a

kidney from her husban, they interveiewd her to. They

followed be with my daughter, at dialysis and the

hospital, It is going to be a good story and hopefully

I can help someone else. Please anyone want to talk or

ask me questions, my aim is socharmed4u I also have

another email adddress that I check all the time. Charmed2@...

What great news. Congratulations. I'm happy to hear about how well you are

doing with the meds and everything. Those of us who are waiting for a kidney

always have that uncertainty about the meds before us. I've never been one

to handle medications very well either, but who knows, maybe when I get a

new kidney, I will. Enjoy your new non-diet!
