only the approved safe tom juices - and the pumpkin people will say it's

GF but refused to give up trade secrets- - they're adding something less than 2%

so they don't have to list it, is my guess

malate, NOT oxide)? Try 1250 mg once a day, then twice a day, up to three times

a day to see if it " sticks. " (It's safe at these levels.)

of which- oddly enough- never have a seizure again, even once the diet is

removed (!). However, from the description, I suspect (but have never tried) the

ketogenic diet would be safe on the SCD. It's not just *specific* carbohydrates-

it's almost NO carbohydrates. Were it not for how much of the calories come from

hydrogenated soybean oil (and therefore loaded with trans fats), it'd probably

be pretty healthy. A do-it-yourself version, while not recommended without a

physician's oversight, would be something along the lines of Atkins + coconut

oil + lots of medium chain triglycerides.

Manufacturers want a consistent product. Tomatoes do not produce a

consistent product because of variables in weather, soil content, and so

forth.

With tomato juice, they use salt to cover the variables.

With other tomato products, they use sugar, or HFCS, or any number of

illegals to cover inconsistencies.

Hence, only tomato juice is legal.
