That can be such a devastating loss but I am glad you are safe and sound! Several years ago, we lost some friends in a house fire. The mom and her two children, ages 13 and 11. They just could not get out in time. I will never forget having to attend that funeral for three people. I am not by any means trying to minimize your loss but I am so grateful that you and your family are safe. You have the right idea, just wait until you get that insurance check!
