> Thanks Rose, I just wish Shar wasn't so sick. I haven't been able

to be in touch with you guys like I would have liked to have been

and I feel like I have let my online family down.

> You guys were there for me when my own family wasn't in my time of

need and for that I am grateful. I apologize to everyone for letting

you down. But I am back in somewhat copacity I feel very broken down

and I may need some strength from you all but I would like a second

chance.

> All you newcomers I would like to say hello and welcome this is a

great group.

> I thought I was gonna lose my mind until I found this group, now I

have a lot of great people of whom to share my thought and fears

with and who understand cause no matter how hard I try my family or

friends here don't understand how sick I am.

> They think I can take a pill and be all better. Get some exercise

lose weight and be ok well I have lost over 100 pounds since last

year and i'm still sick.

> Sorry I just needed to vent a little.

those who missed it, Jan reminded us that even though a snowflake is

one of natures most fragile creations, look what they can do when

they stick together. That is a powerful thought.

> Question re: joint pain. I know that many of you have joint

pain from sarc. I have low back pain that I've had for 20 years;

I'm pretty sure it's from lifting too many patients without help &

poor body mechanics. My right knee aches frequently, but I've torn

it up twice. What I can't explain is pain below the thumbs. A few

weeks ago the left thumb area hurt almost constantly; finallly

subsided to just a tender feeling. Now the right one is aching.

It's not the thumb itself, but the base of the thumb down to the

wrist. I've not injured it that I know of. There is no swelling,

redness, etc. Could this be sarc or just old age? Rose
