Guest guest
Hello, I am searching and cannot find the list I had of antibiotics that were better for someone on SCD to take. I woke up this morning with a bump on my gum and will see the dentist tomorrow. I don't know what it is, and am trying not to panic about it, but I do know that I might need to take antibiotics and I'd like to try to take something less harmful. I just finished 2 weeks off from work from a really awful virus, so on my first day back, I now have to take the afternoon off to drive up to see the environmental dentist. Sometimes lots of things happen at once, don't they? We all work so hard to be well, but ..... Thank you Jeanine celiac SCD 2 years Marilyn: I am thinking about your mother and sending her lots of positive energy!
Guest guest
Hi ,Would you be able to tell me where to find the list please?Thank youJeanineRecently I had to have antibiotics for 3 concurrent infections (both ears and sinus). I was so afraid to take them, but brought the list in for my doctor to choose. I did really well digestive system wise on a sister of eurthromycin (I know I spelled that wrong), it was a 6 day dose that keeps working for 10 days. I had no troubles at all, just made sure to take my acidophilus and yogurt at different times during the day. The doctor wanted me to take Amoxicillin, but I refused that, knowing it could harm my intestinal healing the worst, so he chose one that was middle of the road. We shall see if it worked on the infections...UC/CRemicade>> i had asked doc last week if i need one did it matter - and she > didn't think so but if you all have info - that would be great to have> eileen> > > >
Guest guest
I finally found the safe antibiotics list again. It was on the BTVC knowledge base under C difficile.
