The whole issue of antidepressants is a BIG one with regards to libido in women with GB (men too). If you will Email me privately I will tell you some of the directions to go to investigate re-engaging your sexuality-- yes, of course it can be enhanced!!. It is not unusual that many docs have likely not ever have studied such. And, shrinks traditionally have been trained to alleviate, not necessarily to also enhance. However, I believe you can have all these three: Alleviation of symptoms and enhancement of life and new ways to travel the pleasure centers. It seems very correct dear girl that you are continuing your meds. It is good, with the degree of malabsorption with the GB that you have found a 'right fit.' Sometimes it takes a long time and many tries to get the 'right fit' for each soul. Thankfully we have many choices in meds today that we did not have even five years ago. As per the risk versus benefit ratio that we use to evaluate such matters, it sounds like lack of depression is very much worth some of the more evanescent side-effects you are having. Be aware, as in most cases with GB patients, it may not be an either/or conundrum, but an 'and, and, and'-- several issues all at once-- all contributing to the current outcome. Hang in there... there are many ways to access a good sexuality that is interesting and very agreeable for and to you. all best, ceep G-MOM
