Guest guest
Hello, all! Just wanted to remind everyone of a couple of things: First, when a message is being sent to the group which is off the topic of urticaria and related health issues, please be sure to add NCU to the subject heading. With all the emails this group generates every day, this makes it easier for those who don't wish to read off-topic postings to bypass them. (And yes, we know we've forgotten to do it at times, too!) Second, it really makes it easier to find postings in the archives if the subject line matches the content of the posting. If you are replying to a specific person, it is also helpful if you place their name in the subject line. If you are responding to a posting that has someone's name already in the subject line, but the response is NOT directed to that person, please remove their name from the subject line. Lastly, the emails can get extremely long if we don't all remove previous posting(s) from the body of the email. If you are replying to a specific part of someone's posting, it's fine to leave that, but if your message doesn't really pertain to what is already in that email, then just delete the previous stuff. FYI - If you are feeling overwhelmed by the number of emails coming in from the group, you can change your status to either 'no emails' or 'daily digest'. If you unsubscribe, you cannot access the emails, so these are great options. Another message explaining how to do this, and navigate the site, will follow (subject line will be, " NCU - CHANGING MEMBER STATUS, UNSUB, CHATROOM). Happy New Year to all!
