Guest guest
Does anyone know if Zantac can be bought without prescription in the UK? Also what is the proper name of the drug - e.g. Zirtek is Cetirizine.

Guest guest
Hi Jill, Zantac is ranatadine, and is available OTC in UK. Couldn't tell you whether or not it's cheaper buying OTC or getting on prescription though. I do an NHS prepayment and get all my prescriptions for nothing after I've paid the one-off for the certificate. I get my money back in one visit to the doctors these days....!
