I haven't been feeling well thats why I haven't been posting I hope everyone is feeling better these days I will try to catch up with everyone soon. I go next week to see the gyno for my ovarian cysts and see about getting them removed and then maybe I can start to feeling better soon it seems the hip surgery kinda knocked me for a loop being put under and all i'm just so tired all the time and just can't get enough rest. Guest guest Posted April 30, 2004 Report Share Posted April 30, 2004 Jan, If you have to have another surgery for the cysts, they should put you on short dose IV steroids first. When I had my hysterectomy a year ago, my Gyn had dealt with Sarcoid patients before, and she said surgery is so hard on the body. So she put me IV solu-medrol IV, like one dose going in, then followed by a couple doses, when she went down to one dose, I started to break out with the Sarcoid rash I had once before, so she up the dose again. I did great after this surgery, increase energy due to steroids, and just felt better sooner, no relapse after going home either. My Mother was here and told me to relax, and I couldn't. But healed well too. I was so glad she did that!! I wish I could do that before any stressor in my life? Just wanted to pass this info on to you.
