Hi Ann. From what I have read on the masto board, it does sound like some of

them are on higher doses. Not sure how high, though. I do know this drug is

considered very safe. And yes, the normal adult dose is 2 100mg ampules

dissolved in water 4 times daily - 1/2 hour before each meal and at bedtime.

I did send an email to and she said the same as you, the normal dosage

and that there are people that do need an increased dose, so thanks for

getting back to me!! Ann
