Guest guest
Deb, I know that this is going out after you've seen the new MD. It is so hard to keep going out to specialist after specialist, only to feel as though once again, their is nothing "special" about this specialist either. No wonder our anxiety ends up running amuck. That being said, I hope that you can find room in your heart for what you're going thru. This isn't easy. None of us know when someone is going to say- we've done all we can-- you are on your own. Since I'm in the place where you're at, I know that I have to come back to myself many times each day, and "reel myself in." By that I mean that I have to think and verbalize that I am ok, I can breathe, and I can trust myself to take care of me- right now, in this place. I have to tell myself that I can't control the future and that it's ok not too. And I tell myself to inhale slowly and deeply, and exhale slowly and deeply. Let yourself know you are safe. Right now, you are safe. Breathe. Close your eyes and breathe. Right now you are safe. Really hold yourself in this safe place, and be kind to yourself. Your compassion for yourself and what you are going thru is all that you need at this moment. Everything else will be dealt with when you need to deal with it. So, relax, come back to your breathing, and know that you are safe. With so much compassion, Namaste, Tracie
Guest guest
Dear Tracie - thank you for your support even though you are feeling so sick. I did try and do breathing exercises before and on the way to the visit, but they worked much better on the way home! You did give me some good advice though, I will keep it in mind cause I know I will be in this situation again , I'm sure. The visit went okay. The dr. and his colleague have to go over ALL my records and films. Then they ordered bloodwork and a full body Galium scan. I go back to see them in a month. One point in my favor, their dept. had a sign that said Sarcoidosis on it. Now how many times do you see that? So I will just wait and see now. I hope you are feeling better. Have you gone back for more Remicade yet or is at the end of August that you were going? Well , hang in there. MOST EXCELLANT--SOUNDS LIKE YOU'VE FOUND A PLACE WHERE THEY WILL TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY. I GO BACK TO LA 8/31-9/1. T
