Are you drinking plenty of fluids to keep up your output? Don't forget, you can eat larger quantities and more frequently. I spent entirely too long eating roast pork, roast beef, steamed zucchini, and soft boiled eggs... but I was eating every 2-3 hours! — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Would you clarify the " plenty of fluids to keep up my output. " I do seem pretty thirsty but also tend to be good at getting standard amounts of H2O. I have been eating scrambled eggs with legal cheese in the a.m., sometimes with spinach & /or mushrooms. Later, fruit--a variety, like a fresh fruit salad. Hand full of cashews. Chicken with veggies, more fruit. A LaraBar. Some cheese with maybe sliced apple. SCD yogurt with fruit, crushed pecans and honey. Coffee. Grape juice. Wine. Occasional vodka. And then I made the SCD brownies with beet and carrot, figured it would help with constipation. I eat those with plenty of butter. (Or maybe I don't have constipation after all, perhaps my body just uses it all up!) I think OJ is aggravating me right now, tomato sauce (I made SCD legal homemade into a bolognese) seemed to make a bad flare, lots of blood after that. But then again, the blood seems random and regular. I don't know if SCD is going to work for me since blood is the most regular symptom I have, and that seems largely unchanged. That said, it has just been a week. What do you think? (I have the metabolism of a hummingbird and with the nursing, well, weight seems to be falling off me). I always had the " stomach of iron " , could eat anything, never gain significant weight. The only other thing I am taking is L-Glutamine, supposedly has nothing else in it, just the amino acid. with much appreciation, cara > >Ok to keep eating it all? > > What have you been eating? > > Are you drinking plenty of fluids to keep up your output? >
