,

I adapted the one in the BTVC book a little to suit my taste.

Here it is: http://eatingscd.wordpress.com/2008/01/15/candied-pecans/

, do you think these could be made with ghee or something else since we're

not using butter yet? (Though I know butter would taste sooo much yummier!)

They are a little advanced for us but would make a great treat for my kids for

Easter.

Thanks!

,

This is so being printed up and pinned to my fridge via magnet.

I have been doing this lately so I can try recipes that just look jaw dropping

delicious. The other day I read about Marliyn's cherry pie and Eileen just sent

me a recipe for cashew ice cream!

YUMYUMYUM.

Thanks for inspiring my tummy!!

Terry,

Nothing fussy - a ziplock or other covered container. I don't refrigerate them.

For an experiment, I put some in a small container and left them in my pantry

for a year and they survived just fine. I even ate some and I survived just fine

too. Normally, a pound in my house doesn't last more than a few weeks.

Kelley,

I haven't tried it without butter. It may work though, as the egg would at least

act to bind the ingredients.

If you experiment with this, please let me know how it turns out so I could

incorporate it into my post.

Thanks!
