Hi Ty:

We haven't talked much, but I read about you a lot! I think what is happening with your tattoo may be the same thing that happens to me on my scar. The Dr. said the skin is more sensitive in that area, and, in my case, thinner probably. Just a thought...

yeah my little puny tattoo doesn't get this but, like Tami, my gallbladder removal scar is almost constantly surrounded with welts and itching. be careful scratching Ty. the dye can come right up out of it if you go too deep. try rubbing it in some way.......

Hey Rita!

My daughter who is 17 now, got her belly button pierced when she was 16. I wasn't happy, but made her sign a contract...no more piercings and no tattoos...LOL!

Just rattlin' on myself.

Be careful in that snow. Happy New Year!

Ty!

Lord have mercy, we are quite a bunch!

To all, a very healthy and happy New Year. I am so thankful for all of you, through the good times and bad, from hives to tattoos to bullet wounds...keep on writing, and I hope that I can give back as much as I'm getting.

That's a thought, I have a bullet wound on my knee(yes self-inflicted, yes

it was an accident) and when the entrance wound scar gets a hive on it, the

itch goes clear through to the other side. Like the hive is following the

path of the bullet. It feels really weird. :)

Hey there!

On the tattoo issue, I had a tattoo done nearly a year ago, about 2

months after my CU started. I have had no more hives there than

anywhere else, probably less actually. It's on my inside right ankle,

(I'm young enough to still want one and old enough to know better lol)
