Guest guest
Hi , I wish I could offer some solutions. I really understand what you are going though and wish you did not have to deal with this right now...let alone ever! I'm so sorry this is all happening again. I totally relate to the " don't know if I can deal with this again " feeling, as I said this exact thing to my husband last night. Your situation is so much more painful though because you have a newborn and 5 year old that you must attend to as well. I wish I could offer more in the way of help. Guest guest
OH hon. I'm so so sorry you're in all that pain (by the way no I didn't see your post come thru before)... But hon.... waaay back when I had my baby I didn't have 'any' problems with previous vag. pain and believe me it took me almost the full six weeks to be totally healed from a vag. delivery and goodness if you've only had the baby 5 days ago I would think thats completely normal hon and just part of the birth. I could barely sit for weeks and had pain from front to back all over, it was excruciating believe me, (and a fantastic birth though without one labor pain, (honest injun) so go figure) but I did have an episotomy where I was cut all the way back past the rectum, *the idiots back then) *sigh*.... PLUS the idiot doctor gave me a few extra stitches he said to make me like a virgin again and how pleased my husband would be. !!!!!! arghhhhhhh Anyway hon I did heal finally after about 6 weeks and all was well for years after that. I just hope that's what it is and 'I' would think far too soon to know if it's more than that if it's only been 5 days or so. BIg congratulations on that new little precious one hon.... I'm so happy for you. Hugs Dee ~
Guest guest
I agree too , AT 2 weeks post preg I was still sore, but that was before PRe VV days, so I wasnt concerned...I couldnt imagine being in your shoes well, and then a birth to worry about. My mind would be in a scary place, I know the desperation this causes. However, You are most likely dealing with acute pain from the childbirth NO DOUBT.....What I did was alot of soaks.....and or used ice... I am so glad you were pain free before the birth, YOU JUST HAD MAJOR TRAUMA, so its normal to feel what you do, Im sure you will be okay. Im so happy for your little angel,,,and your family. take care. Love DeeTroll wrote: OH hon. I'm so so sorry you're in all that pain (by the way no I didn't see your post come thru before)... Guest guest
Hang in there, . Not only are you in pain after giving birth, BUT you are taking a lot of meds that mess with your emotions, NOT TO MENTION the havoc that hormones can wreak on your emotions/body post-partum, let's add the stress of being worried that this pain is not going to end and that seems like a pretty full plate of worrisome stuff. Take all the help you can get from hubby, family, friends, neighbors, therapists, and doctors. Be easy on yourself. Try and take a few minutes for yourself each day to picture yourself healed and pain-free. I know it sounds silly but our brains get into the habit of worrying or being upset, and we need to re-train them to think positively, even when we have a lot to worry and be upset about. I am sending healing energy and prayers your way. Hugs, Lindsey > > OH hon. > > I'm so so sorry you're in all that pain (by the way no I didn't see your post come thru before)... Guest guest
Hi, . Congratulations on your new baby but I am sorry that you are in pain. You know, it could be because you are wearing a pad. I wore them for six weeks afterwards and those things can cause a lot of irritation. Especially Always pads but many of the others are now using the same technology (plastic coverings) and we really need to watch out for that. I had stitches with some of my deliveries and it took a couple of weeks for the stitches to heal. So your pain may stay with you for a while for those reasons. I sincerely hope you will start feeling better soon. Hugs, Ora On Sun, 08 Oct 2006 14:20:44 -0000, " peachescream752 " wrote:
Guest guest
Thanks Everyone! The reason the doc and I think it is VV pain is because it is mostly burning. I can tell I am still tender from the tear but the burn is the main problem for me right now. I didn't have this after daughter number one. I agree that having to wear a pad is NOT helping. ALl I want to do is lay naked spread open in front of a fan right now! LOL I just hope that after a few weeks I will start to heal and be able to have a normal life. Something I know we all wish for. I am so sick of this thing taking over my life. I am trying REALLY hard to stay upbeat but I have my moments. Thansk again for all your postive thoughts! Guest guest
Honey...I give you permission-lay in front of that fan with your new baby in your arms for hours and hours! Put a towel underneath you and just be comfortable. Take care and hang in there, Lindsey Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less. Guest guest
, I really hope that you start to feel better soon. The power of positive thought is underrated, but your body often follows what your mind believes. Stay positive and enjoy your new baby. And find a good fan and be spread eagle all day!!!!
