You do need meat in your diet, for the protein and fat. Can you

eat chicken? Chicken soup? Beef patties? Sausage without sugar/dextrose? Are

you eating the 24-hour yogurt (made with ½ and ½ )? What about vegetables:

carrots, green beans, etc.?

Fellow SCDers:

I have a little issue...almost everything that is legal and that could help me

gain weight I can't have because it either gives me heartburn, makes me

nausious or constipates: bananas, avocados, honey, nut butter and nut flour. I

don't like squash at all,...I can only have the spaghetti kind once in a while.

I can't have much fruit as I tend to do yeast candida. The only thing I can do

right now is to put olive or coconut oil on practically everything I can. Does

anyone have other ideas?

Yes I eat meat, but only white and only once a week as it gives me C. problems

and red meat gives me heartburn so I avoid it. I do eat yogurt made with 2/3 2%

and 1/3 homogenized cow milk. This is the most fat that my body can handle. I

eat lots of vegetables, all kinds. I can't have cheese for C. problems.

I can't of anything else to try...

Hi Mara:

I eat eggs but mostly hard boiled. People with GERDS can't eat fried foods, or

fatty, greasy, rich, spicy, acidic... I do however put olive/coconut oil or

butter on my vegees but can't fry them. I eat lots of fish, especially salmon.

Hi ,

I have been loosing alot of weight, so this week I have made my yoghurt with

half full milk and half cream. It has boosted my calories quite abit and tastes

alot yummier. Maybe you could try this if you are having yoghurt.

Thanks for the idea but I can't do fat. I've tried and it gives me heartburn.

The fattiest yogurt I can have is 2/3 2% and 1/3 homo. But thanks anyway:o)
