why not have two full eggs - why the egg white?

1 avocado is not yeast producing, as far as I know

so keep that (unless Kim or Jodi tell you different. <g>)

You could make zucchini or winter squash pancakes to help cut out

your 2nd banana pancake. I think you may have to cut down your

bananas to 1.

I have that meal twice a day so I was up to 3-4 eggs a day plus red meat and my

cholestrol went up but i had made that change before it went up it just seems

too much 3-4 every day!!!

I did figure I should do 1/2 ban with each pancake meal and that will e my 1 for

the day- I'll have to eat the avoc with out making it a shake to get rid of

that 2nd bana

glad to hear avoc is safe for yeast -do I count it as my 2nd fruit???

if not I'll keep my pears but i do see less cooking going on -i like that - LOL

It looks to me like you need more protein and fat (and fewer

fruit carbs).

Can you not eat meat? I found simply pan-fried hamburger with a

little salt (and pepper if you can tolerate) went down quite well virtually from

the start.

What are you putting in your pancake? For me almond flour and

coconut flour were irritating, still are in some ways (not to mention I’m not

fond of the taste of either one, though I very much like almonds and coconut).

It looks to me like you need more protein and fat (and fewer

fruit carbs).

Can you not eat meat? I found simply pan-fried hamburger with a

little salt (and pepper if you can tolerate) went down quite well virtually from

the start.

What are you putting in your pancake? For me almond flour and

coconut flour were irritating, still are in some ways (not to mention I’m not

fond of the taste of either one, though I very much like almonds and coconut).

Hi Eileen,

It's a little hard to understand what you're eating with the way you typed it

out.. I am trying to piece it together.

You need to focus on eating a variety of healthy fats (that is if it agrees with

you and you don't have fat issues- seeing that you eat so many nuts I am unsure

if this is the case or not) so you need fats and a protein with each meal and

cut down on fruit and nuts.

Avocado, Ghee, Nut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut oil etc..

That's a good start.

You totally need to reduce banana intake.

How many eggs do you eat a day?

Try to eat a whole egg.

Pears are very high in Fructose- have you tried pureed berries of any kind?

Removing seeds? If pears are the only thing that work is it cooked? If so How?

Have you tried using some vanilla extract too can give it some yummy flavor too

since the honey has been out the window?

Need to cut the banana maybe to a 3rd and have you tried some kind of other

fruits or veggies? What about making a green smoothie?

Is this chicken soup? Or like a chicken cutlet? How are you cooking this?

As for the apple- is this cooked? If so what about adding ghee and coconut oil

maybe some vanilla or trying some whole cinnamon?

Speaking of nutshells I think you may have yeast as you are very very nut heavy.

It would be interesting to know how many cups of nuts you eat on a daily basis?

I think you need to try adding things like fish in your diet- like maybe even a

good quality canned tuna and some wild salmon.

You need the variety.

Have you tried using bone broths at all?

Very nutrient dense.

I think you need to look at bone broths and making meat stews with veggies. I

don't think it is the fruit as much of your issue as it is the nuts.

Let's see... I can tell you that with an apple, 2 bananas, and a pear,

you're eating, on a daily basis, more fruit than I eat in four

days.

Total up the calories in these, and then go looking for other low-carb

veggies which can give you these calories. Add an extra avocado.

Why are you eating egg whites instead of good egg yolks? (Not that

cholesterol myth, again?)

Hi Browyn,

Don't worry about it not being " your " thread. The nice thing about this place

is that often times others discuss things that peak our interest that apply to

us. To sound like a hippie- it belongs to all of us.. So feel free to hop in!

As for your question;

Nuts have molds on them that Candida love especially nuts that are somehow

processed- like blanched etc. Kim has a great Candida file in the file section

you can check out.

I would personally steer clear of being too nut heavy for Candida purposes.

Some people do ok with the flours- it all depends or nuts that are still in the

shells..

There is some information on dealing with candida/yeast in our group Files, including a list of low- to medium-carb veggies. You can eat a lot of these while you're working on eliminating your yeast overgrowth.

It also helps to avoid any foods that your digestion can't cope with, as the increased fermentation only feeds the yeast.

thanks -can't tolerate ground beef

do eat chick each lunch beef dinner - and i feel like i get tons of fat between

avocs olive oil and pecan butter???

What test did you actually have done to prove the moderate yeast? I wouldn't

mind having some test done on myself, but didn't know what is available to have

done.

What test did you actually have done to prove the moderate yeast? I wouldn't

mind having some test done on myself, but didn't know what is available to have

done.
