Guest guest
I too have hair pain, or at least I think that is what it is... I have tried everything, my doctors have never really diagnosed me with anything they tell me that I am normal but I know that the pain that I have is not normal. I try to shave the area that hurts and it helps for a little while until it grows back > > I found that shaving underneath, using pure soap like kiss my face > olive oil, or what not...and then after shower putting on some coconut > oil over the shaved area...... > > it actually has helped quite a bit....No longer pulling, pain. at > least for now. Guest guest
Hi , I try to keep my hair shaved or trimmed as well b/c I find that if I keep it too long I hurt. I will feel a pulling type pain. Glad that this seems to be helping. Kristy __________________________________________________

Guest guest
, You may want to try just clipping the hairs when they start to grow out a bit more about 2 or 3 weeks after the shaving. It gives the body a break too b/c of the sensitivity. My dr would rather me clip the hairs than shave and most of the time I make sure to do that. Where exactly is all the sensitivity located? I want to see if I can help you a bit further. Kristy __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Kristy, Thank you for wanting to help me, I am greatful for any information that I can get. I feel more comfortable trying things on my own as I said before because I get the feeling that every doctor that I go to tells me the same things and gives me steroids.. Well my pain is on my left side only and it burns and itches on the inside and outside,I also have a little bump on the inside it kinda feels like a pimple but nothing comes out, it kind of feels like nerves or something like that, I can feel something pinching every time I walk, and I feel a sensation( I guess you can say itching) down my left thigh( Inner and hamstring area)It is constantly burning and itchy, I try not to itch because I know that it only makes it worse but sometimes I cannot help it. I cut my nails down almost to the skin so I do not make any sores, but I get sores anyway. I want to go to a hollistic place that sells some kind of cream of something to help. I cannot sleep at night and I really want to go to my doctor to try and get something to help with the pain and something to help me sleep, but I do not want to be on anything that is going to impair me any more then what I already am. I know I have something wrong and I do not think that it is yeast, I do not have any discharge at all, just the burning, itching, and hurting.. > > , > > You may want to try just clipping the hairs when they start to > grow out a bit more about 2 or 3 weeks after the shaving. Guest guest
, Sometimes steroids can be helpful for some women but that should only be used for a short period of time. Have you had any kind of surgeries to your vulvar area? The reason I ask is b/c that can get the ball rolling and that's what started it for me. My problem is also on the left side the up and down. I am under the care of a Pain Management dr as well and she uses the best of both conventional and alternative treatments. This bump that you feel, if you were to put your finger inside and feel it, do you feel it on one of your vaginal walls or in the center area of your vagina? I'll explain why I ask when you write back. Also, have you ever been checked for infections such as Bacterial Vaginosis (I don't mean just yeast) by culture? Sometimes they can cause pain and such too. B/c of all the infenctions I've had over the years I can't fully depend on the discharge to tell me the story. I have to depend on other symptoms to tell me what's going on. You may very well have some nerve damage going on. Have you ever tried sitz baths for some of this? As for meds, one of the meds I have taken in the past for it has been narcotics and b/c of taking it on a schedule I didn't have any side effects like drowsiness and such unless the dosage was upped. But I have some other medication suggestions you may want to try as well. If you would like to know more about that as well pls let me know and I'll do what I can to help you. Pls feel free to e-mail me offlist if you like. Let me know how the hair trimming goes. Guest guest
Kristy, No I have never had any surgeries to that area, I wish that they could just take out the pieces that hurt so it doesnt hurt anymore... The bump is on the inner wall of the outer labia, where its smooth and hair doesnt grow there..I have been tested for other infections but I dont think for BV they always check me for STDS even though I tell my doctors that I do not have sex. What is a sitz bath? I find that when I wash over excessivly the area feels like I have burns , it gets really dry and peels and cracks and bleeds. Today is a bad day for me I am ready to go and ask my doc. for the strongest narcotic that will knock me out, like I mentioned before I do not get much sleep and when I do sleep it is in little increments, I have two children and it is very hard for me to do anything with them and I feel really bad, I am constantly walking around with no bottoms on and I just dont feel right walking around half naked in front of my girls. What do you trim the hairs with? scissors? clippers? Have you ever used Fluocinonide gel? That is what my doctor gave me the last time I went but I was just sick of using anything on it because most of the time it felt like it made it worse I am afraid new things will not work as well. I really need to find a doctor that will understand what I am going through and can actually give me a correct diagnosis. I just noticed that you said I could write to you off list next time I will and you can write to me off list as well. I would like to know the other meds that I can use or ask about. Thank You soo much :)Kristy Sokoloski wrote: ,Sometimes steroids can be helpful for some women but that shouldonly be used for a short period of time.Have you had any kind of surgeries to your vulvar area?
