Hi. I make green smoothies for my son who's 8 1/2 with baby spinach or kale on

alternate days. I use a juicer (I add an apple too) then add to the blender

along with a banana and raspberries - I've found the berries conceal the flavors

best and color it as well. Blackberries and raspberries cover the green. He

has a tendency towards constipation so I don't dilute the greens and this works

great.

He has those 4 days a week and yogurt smoothies the other days.

I need to check out the blendtec - sounds like it saves a step.

Another good tip for kids is to add a couple of drops of oil of oregano (good

yeast killer and natural antibiotic) to a small dish of olive oil and balsamic

vinegar - stir and dip in focaccia. Tastes great. He has avoided cold for 2

years now. yippee.

CD - 3 years

SCD - 2 1/2

My son is 2 yrs SCD and I want to add in fresh vegie juices to get more

vitamins/minerals into him. I'd like to do them straight but I'm not sure if I

can.
