Hi Tami,

The interferon is used as a steroid sparing agent. Also, Immuno

therapy has had promising results for some CU patients. Not all, but

for some. I'm one of the lucky ones. Prednisone shuts down the

immune system while interferon modulates it by acting on the side of

the immune system that cannot shut itself off.
