HI ,

My son has HF Autism. We could never figure out why since he was not

vaccinated. We found the mercury autism list, and had his hair tested. He is

metal toxic. The ony thing I could figure out is he got it from me while

nursing since I have many amalgams. So we did some chelation for him,

following Andys protocol. It was helpful, and we plan on continuing real

soon.

Then I started getting my amalgams out, one per month. But the 5th one, I

was practically bed ridden. I developed Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. I

kept thinking it was just the mercury redistributing. After learning that CF

and Fibro is hypo T, I got my 1 grain of armour raised to 2 grains. I felt

better right away, and keep getting better.

So I did my own hair test, imagining a huge amount of mercury showing up.

Surprise, I didn't even meet the counting rules. I even retested using pubic

hair, because I though my hair coloring was messing up the results..same

thing...

So I got to thinkning that maybe since I have been on thyroid, for 12 years

(11 on synthroid and 1 year on armour), even though under treated, it

helped me excrete the mercury like a normal person would.

So then, I testeed my husbands hair, and he was off the charts with mercury.

He has had no recent exposures, but is severely hypo T, although was not

treated, because his TSH was low. Come to find out he has hashi's , so he

has needed thyroid for years. His temp was 95 for weeks and very low pulse

too.

So all this got me to thinking the metals build up because the thyroid does

not work, not the other way around. I do know mercury can mess up the

thyroid receptors, so it can work in both directions I think.

I will re test my husband's hair after he is on the thyroid for awhile, and

see if the metals go down. He can not chelate anyway since he still has

fillings.

I want to continue removing mine, after I get stabilized, and get a few more

bucks to do it.

Ps I got a thermometer that only takes 10 seconds to register. I know it is

not AS accurate as the other, but it is still good enough to get an idea. My

son's temp is normal in the mornings now.

nne, This is a great suggestion. I just have to get him to

cooperate! Your comment about the metal issues coming from the

thyroid really interesting. I did a course of chelation, then my

thyroid " crashed " , but now that I am feeling better I am feeling a

little less certain that I want to remove all my fillings. So many

of these thing are intertwined. Did my thyroid make me unable to

detox the mercury? It is so hard to know what comes first, and

everyone has their own opinions and experiences. How did you find

out about your son's mercury issues? Did you do a urine test, hair

test? Did you follow Cutler's protocol?

My son also has heavy metal issues, and we have done some chelation

on him.

Where do you get your hair analized? Is there an online source?

Also, I used to think my daughter was HF Autistic. She has so many

symptoms, but we had her tested and they said no. I still wonder if she

might have such a mild case of it, that they just aren't recognizing it.

Blessings,

Debbie K.

Hi Debbie,

It is a Doctors Data Hair Elements Test. My chiropractor orders it, and it

is $42. Andy Cuttler together with DDI, have worked up counting rules, to

diagnose things not evident on the actual test. He has a book coming out

soon about the entire thing.

There is a autism-mercury list on Yahoo that goes hugely into this entire

topic. They are very good with there subject lines, since it is a very busy

list! LOL
