My IV is in my wrist and it is hurting so I can't post much.

But, if my beautiful pureed SCD food stays down today I can go home.

My obstruction looks much clearer from the Xray from yesterday. I am amazed it

cleared up so fast as my last major obstruction (and this one was super painful.

I got very scared) cleared in 4 weeks this one in 4 days. Probably back then

had to do with giving me popsicles and ice cream when I could start eating. I

absolutely shudder at thinking about this. Now I just ate pureed chicken with

broth and home-made apple sauce.

I promised I will tsay on soft foods and put everything in my blendtec until the

surgery. I promised my GI and Surgeon. They were all very accommodating for me

with my diet and very supportive.

I was wondering- I would like to put my wild salmon in the blender- anyone have

some good suggestions. I don't mind bland I will just add some yummy sea salt.

Hi Jodi,

I eat salmon alot. Most canned salmon is wild (if it says " alaska " on the top

of the lid). I like to mix in a little olive oil, a few olives. It's also nice

with a little yogurt or a bit of mustard. Chopped tomatoes or grilled peppers

mixed is delicious.

Hope this helps a little,
