Will this Minomycin work?

Hi,

My doctor just refused to renew my prescription for minocin because I had

" been on it a long time and should go to a specialist. " I went without it

several months and my inflammation is now terrible. My husband ordered some on

the internet. He said the site said it was the original minocin from Wyeth, but

the bottle says Minomycin and the brand says Sigma. It says it is distributed

by Zuelig Pharma Ltd in Auckland, New Zealand. It says Sigma is located in

, Australia.

The capsules are orange on one end and a navy-purple on the other end. Is

anyone familiar with this medicine and will it work? I have been taking it

every other day and have been herxing (or just dying) very badly.

Hi Gloria,

It is fine. Minomycin is the same as Minocin in the US and is the brand

name for Australia and New Zealand, among other places. Use it the same

way you used the Minocin. You are lucky you can import it in the US.

All antibiotic import is banned in Australia, so if a doctor won't

prescribe it, we don't get any.
