Hi ,

Yes, peripheral nerves run throughout the entire body. As my

Pain Management dr explained to me about 3 years ago (yep, when

I first started seeing her) she mentioned about the peripheral

nerves being damaged due to the surgery and said that b/c of the

retractor and such it could have been long enough to do damage

there even though I can feel the damage in the main nerve

branches that are up from them such as the pudenal nerve and the

genitofemoral nerve.

Eventually I will have to get tested for Lyme b/c I lived in an

area as a kid where deer were around, (yep coming in to our

backyard).

Kristy :)

Hi , I don't know the answer to this, but I am thinking of you and praying for you and hope you are doing as well as you can be and staying strong, I would certainly assume it affects all nerves. love, Mollysarahvanessa17 wrote: SO apparently, Lyme inflames and irritates the CNS and peripheral nerves....but does that include the pudendal nerve as well????? I know peripheral nerves are in the arms and legs,

torso,,,,but its so confusing.thankshavin a hard day, just needing some supportLove

,

The peripheral nerves are all of them except the ones

in the spine and brain.

You have at least a couple of reasons for

neuropathy--Lyme?? and Gluten Sensitivity.

Sorry for your pain.

Something you might find interesting, ..

http://www.lymediseaseassociation.org/

Go to the bottom where it says "video"... you can download actual videos of the borrelia bugs...

there is one video of UV light killing the Bb bacteria.... that's interesting... so apprently UV light treatments work on killing them.

Did someone mention that before as a possible treatment for LS?

does anyone know???
