Only 6 left! And now they want me to take 5 years of hormonal therapy! My case: stage IIb, 2 nodes, ER/PR positive, HER-2 negative. I did 8 rounds of chemo and now I have my eyelashes and eyebrows back. My hair is back too, but at a " light black " as my husband says. LOL Have you just found out? What do the doctors say? Guest guest Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 Hi Dawn, Yes, I'm 34 and newly diagnosed in July of this year. I'm stage IIIa, pr/er - and Her/nue unsure, waiting on more test. I mastectomy with tram reconstruction on August 11th and will start chemo on the 28th. My tumor was 6.2cm and is very aggressive, 14/22 nodes were positive. I'm starting out on this path of treatment, but will help if I can. I learn a lot from the other women, of all ages. I am 54 and was diagnosed with a 1.5 cm. er/pr + no nodes and had radiaiton. It could be that as you are younger the bc is more aggressive and chemo is needed.
