Hi , thanks for the advice - but I am running Linus. My husband

and I have the same o/s, but adobe works for him and not for me.

When we get home, he will work on it.

I'm using Linux as well, and using Adobe's acroread for PDFs. Do you and

your husband run on the same computer? Logged in as the same user, using

the same browser?

Ah Gretchen, you are not supposed to make fun of my typos!

That should have read Linux - tho the developer was named Linus, not of

Charlie Brown fame.
