Here it is Aug and it is still very light on top. I have a friend that is a beautician and she said to massage your head to get the blood flow back. I do it 2 to 3 times a day. At Sally's beauty supplies they told me to use Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner. Also to use Silk Elements MegaSilk. It is a moisturizing treatment. I have been doing this for about 3 weeks and I can already feel the little hairs growing. My problem is all the gray hair now. I am almost 46 and I have more gray than my mom. It was the Taxol did that (4 treatments, 3 weeks apart, finishing late Nov, followed by Navelbine until April). The Navelbine was supposed to keep me bald, but it didn't. I was bald from about the second dose of Taxol (late Sept 2005) until mid-January 2006. By mid-Feb it had grown to be a length I quite liked - short but neat, something I might have had done at a hairdresser. Finally, my eyebrows AND eyelashes are back too, and both are fuller than they were before chemo. Unfortunately, like a lot of the rest of us who responded, there's wayyyyyyyyy too much gray for my liking on my head. Would be interested in hearing responses from those who have used hair color - what product, etc. I think someone already asked about that, but I'm asking too. Good luck Sandy -! Guest guest Posted August 29, 2006 Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 My hair started coming in after I finished Radiation Valentines Day 2003...by Easter of that year was I first time I did not wear my wig anymore...I had chemo and radiation...
