I am a former "stress junkie" ... for 10 years I worked 3 jobs while living on sweets, caffeine & nicotine ...my guts have forced me to rethink that approach lol!! Actually, -- I have to thank my bad guts ( well & my son's cancer --which he survived-thank heaven) because honestly those two things have taught me more about living in the moment & appreciating the power of meditation much more than my whole previous lifestyle ever could've done ! ...stress still happens ( i'm a single mom with 2 kids, 2.5 jobs & a mortgage!) but meditation & self hypnosis ( a cd that I bought online for $20 two years ago) help keep everything in perspective --which for me keeps me from channeling that excess bad-energy towards my gut! ...so stress-control ( whichever type works for you) PLUS devout scd ..is what works for me, anyways! hth. gisele Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
