Yep Alena swells anywhere there is a mark. She is having a very hard time

with her last biopsy spots as they flare up all the time and they are

exactly at the hip where her hand rests so a perfect spot to itch. The

gastrocream really really works, I use it on Olivia all the time now, even

made her, her own bottle of it that she carries with her. I have read where

if you get a wound of any sort to put this on over the antibiotic you use

and it will take the itch of the healing away (what mast cells are SUPPOSED

to do) and I have tried it and it does help the healing. I am using this

method on the site of Olivia's skin biopsy she had on Thursday and she

hasn't bothered it so it must work.

You should also check out the book called " Fixing Frannie " Written by

Frannie Rose. I think you would enjoy it. I just mailed off my copy to

Jackie, but you could order it from Amazon. She is a sweet woman who has

Masto and all the CRAP she went through to get diagnosed. I think you could

really identify with her. It is a short book as well, I read it in a day.

Much Love, ~Alena's Mom
