No generics that I know of yet... at least not in Canada.

I don't think they are off patent yet. Merck just tried to get Zocor OTC, but

after Vioxx, the FDA shot them down really fast.

I have to pay more for Zocor and Cozaar too. No generics yet unfortunately.

Yeah, I guess I'd rather pay the extra $5.00 each than to

take something not really thoroughly tested.

On a happy note today, I got a call from my Supervisor at March

AFB and they have given me a waiver until May 2007 to return to

my Reserve status. I've been fighting for 2 years this month to get

reinstated since they found out about the IGA.

Try this website. I gives all sort of info on different patient-assist

programs where you might be cable to qualify for some free prescriptions. I

have

used it and qualified for a few myself.

Thanks for posting this! I bet everyone's doing the same thing I just did -

scrolling up and down to see if their drugs are listed. I just saved this

link under favorites in case I need it.
