Guest guest
I have been lurking here off and on for a couple of monthes and have learned of the some of the various experiences one can have with this NF2. Which brings me to my question. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge of Dr. Martuza at Mass General? My hopes are that Christmas was all it is supposed to be to all of you and your families. Guest guest
I think you'll find a couple of crewbies who have had surgery by Martuza. I've never had surgery by him but he did follow my case some when I was younger (my whole family has NF). I think my most noticeable moment was when I was 12 and I bribed him to buy us ice cream in exchange for blood tests LOL. Anyways, Martuza was (and is?) considered one of the experts on NF. When he transferred back to MGH this past year (or two) ago, he is in a Administration/Teaching position and as far as anyone knows, he's not doing surgery now. Guest guest
--- I'll let you know what he's actually doing after I meet with him on the 30th of January. Thanks for the reply. Guest guest
I LOVE Martuza. He operated on me in 1985. He is back ay MGH only in a teachingt/research mode. He refers his operations to McKenna who is in his team. Joanie Re: My own self interest > I think you'll find a couple of crewbies who have had surgery by > Martuza.
