> Talked to my mom this afternoon. Her CA125 test (ovarian cancer

marker blood test) came back at a 51. If it's 35 or under they do

nothing but just watch things. Since it came back as a 51 she has to

start chemo next Tuesday. They said that they can't find the rest of

the cancer and that with a number that high the cancer will show up

soon if she does not have chemo. So since she is healed up from

having part of her lung removed last month (ovarian cancer tumor in

her lung) she will start chemo next week. She has 4 rounds of it,

each one three weeks apart if she can handle it, otherwise she will

get it each week. They did not really tell her anything else.

Hey, Moe. Cancer CAN be beat. I know people who are alive today after

having cancer years ago. Tell your mother and yourself that all the news

isn't bad.

Cheers,

Sorry to hear this Moe. I will keep her in my prayers. My MIL had colon

cancer ten years ago and she got through it and is doing fine now so don't

loose hope.
