Guest guest
After three and a half months of waiting, I have finally got my orientation date, Oct 12 at SSF! I meet with Beth Goodridge (nutritionist I assume) on 10-29, and finally with Dr. Stiles on 10- 30. Historically, how long does it take to get your actual surgery date once you have met with the surgeon? 3-4 weeks? I started off at 276 and have lost 10lbs so far, and I still have well over a month before I see Dr. Stiles, so it's likely I will lose another 10 pounds or more. My goal is to be at 250 when I do meet her. I know, I know, it will not count towards my 10%, but at least I've made strides in changing my lifestyle and in moving forward. Do you think she will make me lose more? I mean, if she request that I lose and additional 10% from 250, I will be down to 225lbs by the time I have surgery… I guess that means I will have so much less to lose in the end, but do any of you think that she will ask me to lose more? What are your experiences with Dr. Stiles? God Bless You All Pre-Op 276, 266 SSF Kaiser, Dr. Stiles
