Thanks, Val. I'd been thinking that since I've been on this SR T3 for over a month with no problems, and since my dose is so low (only 30 mcg) this must really be a virus and not T3. Do you think it would be a good idea to just stop the SR T3 entirely until I've raised my ferritin through the iron IV's?

Also, once I've stopped the T3, how long might it take for these symptoms to go away?

Re: is T3 making me sick?

Yes the intolerance to T3 from low iron causes horrible symptoms.--

Yes, I was worried that stopping it might cause a whole new set of problems, since I've been on it for over a month. But I feel SO bad, I'd really do just about anything to get past this. It really feels like a raging case of flu, though nothing intestinal.

I'm taking 15 mcg twice a day, for a total of 30 mcg. These are 5 mcg capsules. How much would you suggest I take?
