Unfortunately most docs don't seem to know too much about this. The best test is really a saliva test that measures your cortisol 4x during the day. See if your doc has these. But don't despair...you can treat your adrenals on your own if need be. About all you can say to your doc is that you're concerned that your symptoms when you try to up sound like your adrenals need some support as you know that when the thyroid has become out of balance the adrenals often are too...and need some support for a while.
