<< Ceep~ You have made me think seriously again about getting a fire

extinguisher for my kitchen...especially the way my hubby likes to burn up

pans...he leaves them on the fire and walks away....I hear the smoke alarm

going off..and he doesn't...I do believe his deafness is entering a profound

stage! This is scary business. >>

Dear Jacque and all:

you are RIGHT and it is SERIOUS. Perhaps it might be time for a udated

hearing eval ? That and a louder alarm in smoke detector. Different smoke

alarms have different sounds, some have flashing lights and can be placed so

he can see it too. And the Fire Extinguisher canister; make sure to get a

proper one (i.e. certified) and then take it outdoors and test it to make

sure it will work.

Let us know. We don't want toasted Jacque and family. Nor roasted. Just as

is, is just fine.

love,

ceep
