I have discovered that this is coming from overeating during a meal. I find

that if I just eat smaller portions, I do not suffer from this at all. Also,

it helps to eliminate milk products significantly...and of course things like

beans, broccoli, and all that gas inducing stuff.

Hope it helps...

No, I don't mean my behind has shrunk... LOL...

I've been off-list for awhile and now I'm thrilled to be back in a

position to keep up (somewhat) again!

I'm still having a problem with " windiness " , and the last time I was

here there was quite a discussion going around of possible remedies.

Is my co-hort from the " windy city " still aboard? The one who was

going to Sturgis? I wanted to share pics of my new Harley! LOL! :)

Anyway... if anyone has found anything that helps, please let me know

what you've tried that works. It's quite a problem for me, and it's

very embarrassing. I seem to have the problem worse at night, when I

lay down. It's just that the " quality " of the odor is soooo strong,

my husband literally keeps a can of deodorizer by the bed. It's

soooo strong that it wakes him up out of a sound sleep, and the odor

tends to linger on the bedclothes (and in MY clothes) for days at a

time, or until they are washed. I'm going broke buying laundry

detergent and Febreeze. I've discovered that certain foods make the

odor worse - so needless to say, I now stay away from seafood.

I work at the bariatric center where I had my surgery, and none of

the nurses or doctors have been able to suggest anything that works.

I've tried beano, I've tried varying my diet, and it just remains the

same. Could be I'm stuck with this problem as an unfortunate side

effect of the surgery - and I can live with that! But I won't give

up until I've tried every reasonable remedy.

Thank you for your ears!
