Guest guest
I just got off the phone with the phyciatric dept and was told patients for WLS were not required to get an evailuation anymore. I am finding that a bit strange to say the least. But if they want to eliminate another obstacle for me then by all means... Kym
Guest guest
Hi Kym, How nice to not have to jump through so many hoops. Here in Nor Cal I had to have a psych eval included in my initial file for approval.(June 2004) I will also be required to see another psychologist prior to surgery who specializes in the bariatrics field. Very interesting how different regions have different processes. Best of luck to you on your WLS journey. Guest guest
Kerre, at Pacific Bariatrics, they had you arrive two to four hours early. So, your surgery would probably be somewhere between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. I think if you ask them, they should be able to tell you what time the actual surgery is scheduled for. Best wishes! - Lesa - Wow Every one is doing so well! Congrats to on approval! Leann congrats on getting to the 'other side'. you look Marvelous! Kaiser just called me and confirmed my arrival time for surgery at 7AM on Monday. Does anyone know what time the actual surgery will happen? Kerre 3 Days and counting!!!!
