Guest guest Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 Now that is really strange, as I can buy it over the counter and health stores. I have always used this. It has really helped my hair so much. Guest guest Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 Hi everyone. Yea, about those hot flashes, oops I mean power surges If it were a man having hot flashes I am sure there would have been a cure by now. lol. I have cut back on my caffeine. I always have been a coffee & tea drinker. but had to stop it. I have maybe a cup or two in the morn and that's it. I tried the decaffeinated coffee but it made my cholesterol spike. Something to do with how they process it. Used to have a glass of red wine with dinner. but it has been giving me headaches. Maybe it has to do with the meds. So I stopped doing that. I don't know about the rest of you but my breath has been bad since taking all these different meds. My dentist told me that the meds have an effect on the amount of saliva we produce and that is what helps with your breath. The meds dry you up also. He told me to take a supplement called Biotin. it is part of the B family. It isn't a prescription. But you do have to ask your pharmacist to order it for. It comes in tablet or chewable. I got the tablet. It is also supposed to help with your skin and your hair. But you have to make sure it doesn't' interfere with your other meds. I am trying it. Hey the CURE mag. is wonderful. I have been receiving it for fa few months now. I love it. And it is free to anyone w/cancer. I am going back to work on Mon. part time. I am a Special ED. Tutor. School starts here on Mon. so, If I don't write for a while that's why but I'll still be reading. Good luck to everyone with their treatments. As our Governor would say " I'll be back " . lol --------------------------------- Get your email and more, right on the new Yahoo.com Quote
Guest guest Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Hi , Is that related to Biotene toothpaste which you're suppose to use if you have dry mouth? I used it during AC because I had dry mouth. It's over the counter. - Theresa Towner wrote on 8/18/2006, 12:04 PM: > I don't know about the rest of you but my breath has been bad since > taking all these different meds. Guest guest Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Hi , sorry so long in responding. It probably is the same. It is the first time I have heard of. I'll have to try the paste. The tablets seem to be working good. I can tell when I get up in the mornings. I went back to work this week and it has been a long week for me. I didn't even turn on my computer this week at all. I have a lot of catching up to do this weekend. I work with kids that have moderate to sever learning difficulties. I am on my feet most of the day so by the time I get home my joints are just aching. Its probably because of the arimidex. I have been having to take pain meds when I get home and they really knock me out. It will get better the more I get back into the routine. Thanks for the tip about the paste tt. wrote: Hi , Is that related to Biotene toothpaste which you're suppose to use if you have dry mouth? I used it during AC because I had dry mouth.
