Guest guest
Ok here is the answer to "Is Mastocytosis an autoimmune disorder?" Mastocytosis is not considered an autoimmune disease. It is amyeloproliferative disorder, meaning one of the family of disorders that ischaracterized by a proliferation of cells made in the bone marrow. Ibelieve some people who have a normal number of mast cells but withinappropriate activation of them might have an autoimmune cause for that, but don't know of any way that the immune system's attacking some of thebody's normal tissues could cause mastocytosis.
