Jeanna, Honey that is horrible news, but I understand so much.. That happened to me one time at my last job and I could not convince them that what they were saying was a horrible lie, I had better work ethics than that, I had never ever even had a write up in over 25 years and it hurt to know that someone just wanted to hurt me that badly.. You and your family are in our thoughts and our prayers and hope that your hubby will not only find a new job quickly but will find one that pays twice as much and we hope his health returns to normal quickly. I know this won't help ulcers.. but worrying will only make them worse.. So, tell him to shake the dust off his feet, pick himself up and dust himself off and go get that job that is out there waiting for him...

Hi everyone, I know that you all have things going on major in most of your lives, but could you squeeze in an extra prayer for us. On top of all the health issues I have my husband was let go from a job he loved yesterday and that he poured his whole heart into because of a horrible lie that someone told and no one was willing to stand up for him. I know it was a lie because I have been married to this man for over 20 years and I know his character and his heart. He not only loved his job too much to put it in jeopardy but he also would not put his family in financial or health insurance ruin. Then it also looks as if my husband has developed ulcers big time as he is having a lot of bleeding. Anyway I hope this makes since please remember us. your friend in Texas, Jeanna

Hi Jeanna. I can understand how you feel right now and your husband too. It's unfortunate that its all too often when a hardworking, honest person's whole life gets screwed up because of some deceitful, undeserving person who wants to get ahead.

Hi, I am Jeanna's husband Jeff, and the one that was forced out of the company when in just less than a year I reduced their income taxes by several hundred thousands dollars and refinanced some of their 70 rent houses that had been at 8.5 to 10.5% down to the 5 percent range, set a budgets for all their properties which includes a portfolio in the hundreds of millions and even though it was not my job, I brought in another $50,000 in revenue. The bookkeeper who was supposed to be my subordinate knew that I was onto her embezzling money from this family owned business and used a young receptionist of ours that is very fragile and has deep emotional scars and manipulated her much like a cult figure does their followers and had her actually believing that I was sexually harassing her. Well, I had an ace in the whole in case I needed it and am now fixing to play it since it proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that this bookkeeper was defrauding and embezzling from the company for years. I was brought in to replace a family member, who although was Controller had his own agenda and did not seem to care to take the time to look into these things.

Also I did payroll, bill back, deposits and estate planning (putting together of just their real property took two months) and implemented other ideas like fleet maintenance, and getting a Sams card to localize our purchases to keep cost down, and finally was responsible for preparing over 70 returns that have grown to close to 100 and it just does not add up.

I know that 1 Corinthians chapter 6 talks about taking a brother to court and that it is contrary to the way God works, but their reasoning for letting me go was the this bookkeeper that all the staff feared would do anything and say anything she put them up to. The line I was given was that due to the conflict between us,. I had to go because they thought others would leave with her. Am I missing something here or does loyalty to your employer in direct contrast to loyalty to a thief which in the end impacts everyone in the company. I pushed the owner last Christmas to give out the biggest bonuses ever and have been a listening ear to these people since 90% of the time I am the only male in the office and the owner has no personality skills and was born wealthy and does not know how the real world works.

Thank you for letting me get that off my chest and thank you for being a course of encouragement for my bride who means everything to me and is the reason I am here today and happily work hard to get her the best care that I can. I would welcome any suggestion about anything I have written. And especially thank you for your prayers. Jeanna tells me about your situations and even though I might not know the name, God does and He hears when I pray on your behalf. I thank God or this group of people and His continued mercy and grace in our lives.
