Guest guest
Sad to say up two pounds...no idea why. My weight has really been going up and down this week for some reason. I dropped points back to 25 and then bam, gained five pounds overnight. (Isn't that strange?) Obviously it wasn't fat and three are gone, but I'm assuming that either I'm going to get sick, my muscles have " popped " a little (I have increased weight lifting and running substantially), or maybe I'm just strange! Still under goal so I try not to stress about it. Last week: 115 This week: 117.0 (Got a new scale that gives me tenths) Points: 25 Stayed on points and exercised every day! ~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~' Tory Klementsen, MCP A+ Career and Technology Educator www.teechur.com www.msteechur.com -The successful person will do the things that the unsuccessful person will not. Guest guest
I'd like to guess that it's the weightlifting. I have no clue but would a body fat analysis give you any clues to if it's 2 lbs of muscle or fat? Out of interest, how many pts do you normally eat a day to maintain your weight? Guest guest
Hi Cheyenne I'm assuming you're talking to me. I am currently at a point range of 25-30 and maintaining around 115-118 pounds. I genrally eat 25 Mon-Thurs and Friday eat 34, Saturday and Sunday eat up to 44 per day, so an average of 32 points per day. I earn an average of 8 Aps per day...which is why I don't think it's fat. I'm not horribly concerned, but honestly it does seem that I should be able to eat more points per day. > Re: Weigh In for the Week > > > I'd like to guess that it's the weightlifting. Guest guest
Tory, Now I know this might be a stupid question, but did you get the new scale before or after the sudden 5lb gain? I'm assuming after (since you had trouble w/ your old scale before when the batteries were dying) but I thought I might ask since that could be the culprit in a sudden gain. Guest guest
Yeah I wish that was the problem...maybe I'll just blame the scale! LOL! What happened with my old scale was Saturday morning I weighed 115. Sunday morning I weighed 120! <!!!!!!!!!> <freak mode>Yipes</freak mode> Well I knew I hadn't gained that overnight. I also knew it had a new battery, so that wasn't it. Then Monday it was 118, 119, 117. I saw the same thing Tuesday so Tuesday night we just went and got a new scale. The old one weighs the same as the new one, although it jumps around sometimes. So unfortunately I don't think it was the scale. > RE: Re: Weigh In for the Week > > > Hi Cheyenne > > I'm assuming you're talking to me.
