Guest guest
Yes, I am better off. Now, if this clinic guy fails and refuses to make the referral so I can see the UCI docs I believe my next visit will be with a lawyer. I tried it their way for two years and they've ignored all my problems, pains, and etc. Enuf already! CarolR wrote: > Good. You're better off! Guest guest
Excuse a personal question: I'm new to northern OC [HB, too], and while I retain my internist in Torrance, I am looking for an endo, a Psychiatrist, a lab for blood work, etc., and physical and psychological therapists. Is UCI really the only choice for anything important? Thanks, Charlie Re: Doctor Woes Yes, I am better off. Guest guest
If you don't get that referral in a reasonable amount of time -- say a week -- you could even mention to the clinic office that you were going to consult a laywer. Guest guest
I just got my blood tests back from my doctor. I've been seeing this guy for about 6 months now. Each time I go for blood tests it takes months to get the results. I called to complain about this the last time and he told me that I should have received a call the day after the tests. He also told me that my tests looked " great! " . My A1C had gone up from a 5.7 to a 6.9. I told him that I thought it was terrible and that I was very frustrated with the results. I told him that I had doubled my insulin and my daily average is still rising. He wasn't alarmed and told me to go back and see him in another six weeks. Does this sound normal to you all? Or should I be shopping around for another doc? -Sandy
