RA and bone density

Hi everybody,

Most RA sufferers face a bone density problem (osteoporosis) due to

the side effects of many RA drugs

such as prednisone, methotrexate etc.

Physicians automatically write a prespriction such as fosomax, to

compensate for the problem. As most

of you know, these drugs are a very poor solution, expensive, and

carry their own side effects and risks.

According to government statistics, 12 % of fosomax users required

medical treatment for the side effects

and of those 14 % had to be hospitalized !

My wife has been on prednisone for over two years. To prevent

osteoporosis, she took strontium, a

natural, inexpensive mineral related to calcium. Since it is a

natural substance, nobody can get a patent on

it and charge outrageous prices. As a consequence, it is not

advertised and hardly known.

Strontium is a completely safe treatment and gets results. My wife

was able to prevent any osteoporosis

even at her age of 73.

Anybody needing to prevent or treat osteoporosis should read the

excellent article STRONTIUM AND

BONE HEALTH by Ward Dean, MD at vrp.com/newsletter.asp#2

Strontium is used either as the carbonate or other salts such as

gluconate. It is available from several sources

but we have used the VITAMIN RESEARCH PRODUCT ( $ 20 per month )with

great success. We have

no connection to this company other than believing it is a reliable

high quality supplier.( 800-877-2447).

Good health,

and nne
