Guest guest
Well, since I officially hit lifetime three weeks ago, I've stayed on " losing points " to try and get down to a personal goal of mine. The first week was a tremendous loss--over two pounds! Yippee, I'm on my way! Then, last week, a .2 gain. Then, this week, a .8 gain. So In three weeks, I've lost about a pound and a half for a whopping average of .5 per week. Arggg.... I starting noticing this trend a while back as I was getting closer and closer too goal weight. It's like my body has a large loss, then it thinks " oh no, we took too much, gotta give some back. " I end up with a net loss, but it is s...o...s...l...o.....w. It makes me want to scream! Anyway, I'll keep trudging along OP, and hopefully I'll make PG before the end of the freaking year. Sorry for the whine. I'm going to workout now. That should lift the spirits. Guest guest
Hey April, Hang in there! Look at the big picture....you made goal and over a few weeks you have a net loss, that is fantastic. As for the slow losing, I can totally relate!!!! I am a very slow loser, but haven't made goal yet. I still have about 30 pounds to go, but eventually I will get there. You are doing great just keep it up!! Maureen Weighed In...Urgh!!! Guest guest
Hi, April. Just hang in there, you'll be fine! How have you adjusted your points intake to maintain? Maybe that has something to do with it? in OKC <>< 238/181.8/165 > Well, since I officially hit lifetime three weeks ago, I've stayed > on " losing points " to try and get down to a personal goal of mine. > The first week was a tremendous loss--over two pounds! Guest guest
Thanks guys. I know the routine: sometimes, no matter how hard we try, our bodies just do not cooperate. I learned a long time ago not to let that derail my efforts, BUT sometimes I just have to whine about it a bit. Thanks for being friendly shoulders. I've actually kept my target at 20. I've been eating all my APs and most or all of my FPs each week (which is what I've done all along to get to goal). I think eating so much makes me lose slightly slower, but because I'm so active, I'm afraid eating much less would also hurt my athletic performance. So, I trade off...I enjoy working out so I just deal with losing slowly. april
