The active ingredient in aspirin (also in quercitin and grape seed extract)

is salicylate, which controls release of PGD2 (the cause of swelling). How

much aspirin are you taking?

Air hugs,

Jackie

A while ago I posted saying how grapeseed extract was helping me but

is expensive and you suggested aspirin may have the same effect. You

were right, aspirin does help me just as much but I can't seem to

locate the post where you explained what the aspirin/grapeseed does.

I'd be grateful if you could repeat it for me please.

Just the normal couple of tablets you'd take for a headache. I

wouldn't want to take that much daily if possible though.

Glad it's helping, Jill.

For anyone interested in trying aspirin therapy to help control PGD2, many

masto patients use baby aspirin daily instead of full strength. And if

stomach issues are a problem, enteric coated aspirin is easier on the tummy.

Air hugs,

Jackie
